Myra Nikitas: Co-Founder

Compassionate Care and Leadership
Myra Nikitas brings over 20 years of experience in the dental field, having started her career as a dental assistant and later earning a degree in dental hygiene from NHTI Concord in 2005. Myra is passionate about providing compassionate care to underprivileged communities, which led her to enhance her expertise with certifications in Local Anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide Administration in 2010.

Community Health Advocate
Myra dedicated 15 years to private practice before transitioning to a full-time role at the Greater Nashua Dental Connection. There, she provided free dental services to school-aged children and served on the organization's Board of Directors. In 2019, Myra earned her public health dental hygienist certification, further strengthening her ability to deliver impactful dental care directly to those in need. Myra is also a co-founder of Traveling Tooth Fairies, a non-profit offering free dental care and referrals to elementary and middle school students in Nashua.

Dental Hygiene Leadership
Myra has made significant contributions to the field, serving as President of the New Hampshire Dental Hygienists' Association and chairing the Dental Hygienists' Committee under the NH Board of Dental Examiners from 2019 to 2022. In these roles, she helped shape policies that advanced dental hygiene and public health.

Beyond Work
Outside of her professional career, Myra enjoys spending time with family, embracing outdoor activities, and offering Reiki therapy to oncology patients at Southern NH Medical Center. Her commitment to improving the well-being of others is evident in both her work and volunteer efforts, leaving a lasting impact on those she serves.
